Tip 1 - 3:00 Curragh - Pepper Noir

The Crowmwell yard is flying high at the moment, after landing a double on the final day of Punchestown. They'll look to continue the momentum on the flat at the Curragh with Pepper Noir. This filly ran a great race over course and distance a couple of weeks ago on her first turf run, finishing fifth, beaten just two lengths. With Gary Carroll taking over from a five pound claimer, she should be able to continue her progress.

Tip 2 - 3:05 Beverley - Puella Law

Puella Law steps into handicap company on the back of four solid runs as a 2yo. Her best run came on debut over course and distance in a race that has produced a couple of winners since. A lot will depend on how she has progressed from two to three, but if she has come on at all for her near-six-month break, she should be able to take advantage of her mark of 72.

Tip 3 - 4:00 Bath - Stage Show

Stage Show seems to be fairly exposed at this point, having had 12 career runs and failing to get his head in front. However, he's admirably consistent, finishing in the first four in all of his seven most recent runs. A couple of the market principles today have to prove that they'll see out today's trip. That shouldn't be an issue for the selection, who drops back three furlongs after looking like a non-stayer over 1m5f last time out. He should run his usual solid race, and that might be enough today.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).

Where Can I Watch the Daily Horse Racing Selections Run?

The best place is always on the racecourse but that’s not very practical so when it’s not on terrestrial TV with the likes of Sky Sports Racing and ITV (or ITV 4) then the best way to get instant access to live pictures is with a live streaming bookmaker – try these three below for the best of the bunch.
