2018 Premier League Darts dates, matches and tips

The 2018 Premier League Darts starts on 1 February at the 3Arena in Dublin and will feature new world champion Rob Cross

Phil Taylor is the notable absentee from the 2018 Premier League field of ten players, with The Power retiring from the sport after the World Championship, although there is still a strong field lining up.

The tournament is sponsored by leading bookmaker Unibet free bets, with the best players in the world clashing at venues all over the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands.

Rob Cross is the new world champion and an obvious inclusion, with Michael van Gerwen the favourite to win the competition, while there are other household names in the form of Gary Anderson, Peter Wright and Raymond van Barneveld.

However, there are some new inclusions in addition to Cross, with Daryl Gurney, Mensur Suljovic and Gerwyn Price the other rookies, while Michael Smith will get a second bite of the cherry.

Simon Whitlock has had a consistent 2017 and will now get a chance to return to the competition, with the Australian lending a more global appeal to the tournament.
