We’re looking forward to England clashing with Panama, while there are some crucial Group H games on Sunday
It’s been a long wait but England are back in World Cup action on Sunday, with the Three Lions clashing with Panama in what looks to be a one-sided affair.
Japan and Senegal will look to build on their respective victories when they clash in the Sunday afternoon clash, while Poland and Colombia are drinking in last chance saloon and they’ll be going for broke in this clash.
England 13:00 Panama
Japan 16:00 Senegal
Poland 19:00 Colombia
Trying to find a betting angle for England’s match against Panama is a tricky one, although we’re happy to get with them to win on the Asian Handicap at -2.
That means money back if they win by two goals and a profit if they manage a three-goal or bigger margin of victory.
Belgium did exactly that when winning 3-0 and England look to have a similar amount of firepower, with Harry Kane gunning for more goals and it appears he will be flanked by Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford.
Meanwhile, Senegal look a good bet to beat Japan. We weren’t too impressed with their win against the Blue Samurai and their victory owed plenty to the fact that Colombia were reduced to ten men early in the clash.
Talking of Los Cafeteros, we’re looking forward to seeing them with a full compliment of players and they looked fairly lively with ten men until tiring in the second half and getting pegged back by Japan.
Maybe we’ll see a dazzling performance now that James Rodriguez is back in the fold, with the midfielder making a cameo performance against the Blue Samurai and we’re expecting him to link up with Radamel Falcao.
All odds were correct at time of posting.
