Sergio Aguero now as short as 6/1 to finish top scorer after brace in Community Shield
There are no less than five players trading at single figure odds in the Premier League Top Goalscorer market, with Sergio Aguero being the big market mover on the eve of the 2018/19 campaign.
The man known as Kun scored twice for Manchester City in their Community Shield victory over Chelsea, with the Argentine a regular near the top of the scoring charts and Paddy Power go 15/2 about Aguero finishing at the very top.
Unibet are more wary of laying Aguero in this market and odds of 6/1 are available with this bookmaker, with the City forward capable of scoring goals in bulk and he looks to be the first-choice striker for a team who will clearly find the net on a regular basis.
Available at similar odds, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also been a popular selection, with the Gabon international having moved from 9/1 in places to as short as 5/1 although William Hill still offer their customers 6/1.
The Arsenal forward managed an impressive ten goals in thirteen matches for the Gunners last season and he’s likely to be prolific for Unai Emery’s team this term.
Harry Kane is trading at 5/2 with most bookmakers and now looks set to go off as favourite, although BetVictor are happy to trade 100/30 about the Tottenham man who will miss his team’s opener at Newcastle although is sure to be sniffing out goals.
Mohamed Salah claimed top prize last season and the Egyptian is trading at 5/1 with Ladbrokes to finish top of the pile again, with the attacking winger looking sharp during pre-season.
