Atletico Madrid attacker Arda Turan has been linked with a switch to England, following speculation he is ready to quit La Liga this summer.
Atletico Madrid attacker Arda Turan has recently cast doubt over his future in La Liga, putting a host of Premier League clubs on red alert, as they prepare to launch bids for his services.
The Turkey international midfielder’s representative Ahmet Bulut recently declared that a decision over his client’s future is imminent.
“We want to clarify that at this time there is a lot of pressure about this situation but we don’t want to make a formal statement about his destination before he signs. That being said, in the next four days Arda will decide which team he’ll play for next season,” stated Bulut.
So where will the sought-after midfielder end up after the summer?
Jose Mourinho’s Blues are leading the line of English top-flight clubs hoping to land Turan this year and are a best-priced 2/1 with Sky Bet secure his services.
Chelsea are hoping to build an even stronger squad for next term, as they aim to retain the title, and the arrival of such an experienced and highly-driven player could work wonders.
Louis van Gaal has already snapped up Memphis Depay at Old Trafford and will be looking to add further stars to his roster for an attempted title push next season.
Turan represents a player who could take the Red Devils to the next level with his determination and attacking prowess. The Champions League winner is 2/1 with Sky Bet to be a United player after this summer transfer window slams shut.
Having already delved into many transfer dealings already in this window, including the likes of James Milner and Roberto Firmino, Turan would be another superb signing at Anfield.
Brendan Rodgers is clearly building an attacking machine which he hopes can genuinely challenge on all fronts next term, and he is 20/1 with Bet Victor to have Turan within his ranks this year.
Immense speculation sometimes ends with the same outcome; a player earning a new long-term contract at their current club and getting a pay rise.
Turan could easily follow along that similar path and remain in Spain, with Sky Bet offering 7/1 on the Turkish talent staying put.
The French champions have vast amounts to splash out on new recruits and, with players such as Ezequiel Lavezzi having arrived in Paris during the latter stages of his career, could Turan do so too?
At 28 years of age, the former Galatasaray playmaker has won 81 international caps and won both La Liga and Champions League titles, so he is 6/1 with Sky Bet to end up in the French capital this summer, possibly aiming to end his career with some Va Va Voom.
