Arsenal now 25/1 to win Premier League title after seven consecutive wins

Gunners continue to shorten to land a shock title win after beating Leicester City 3-1

Unai Emery appears to have his sights set on winning the 2018/19 Premier League title after yet another victory on Monday night, with Arsenal coming from behind to win 3-1 against Leicester.

Mesut Ozil produced a masterclass to help the Gunners land another three points and the bookies are starting to show the London side a little more respect than previously, with bet365 going 25/1 about Arsenal.

It has clearly been a favourable run of fixtures for Emery’s side after losing their first two matches of the season against Manchester City and Chelsea respectively, although some of their football against the Foxes superb.

The performance of Ozil was particularly outstanding and his manager heaped praise on the German who is starting to find consistency in a red-and-white shirt for arguably the first time since arriving at the club.

“With every player today I’m very happy,” the Arsenal head coach told Standard Sport. “Each player is giving us his quality, his capacity. We are demanding a lot of ourselves.

“For Ozil today it was a very good performance. We are going to push and demand for ourselves and him this regularly.

“Did his leadership impress me? Yeah, yeah. It’s very important in this situation. But we have in the team a lot of players with this capacity. Because also each player with his quality or his capacity, he can help us.”

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is now an 8/1 chance with bet365 after firing in two goals against Leicester, with the Gabon forward coming off the bench to great effect and he’s staked a claim for a starting berth against Palace.

All odds were correct at time of posting.
