BetMGM Massachusetts Bonus Code & Launch Details Sep 2022
MGM International, and its BetMGM Massachusetts Sportsbook, are the big winners now that legalized sports betting has come to Massachusetts.
The company has a leg up on competitors due to its MGM Springfield casino, which the entertainment company has operated since 2018 in the western part of the state of Massachusetts.
Gov. Charlie Baker has signed the Massachusetts sports betting bill into law, and now the machinery turns to get legal sports betting in Massachusetts up and running, perhaps even in time for NFL betting. There hasn't been a timeline announced, but the general consensus is it will take 3-6 months to launch retail and online sports betting.
BetMGM MA, however, could offer retail sports betting on the shorter range of that timeline. That's because BetMGM Massachusetts already has a sports betting lounge set up, complete with a bar and dozens of TVs spread across a massive wall. The area is off center, a short walk from all the dinging slot machines and yelling crowds at the roulette tables.
Interestingly enough, BetMGM wasn't listed as one of the operators to apply for a "Notice of Intent" with the state of Massachusetts. The deadline is August 31, however, it can still apply at a later date since the Massachusetts Gaming Commission is still finalizing a timetable for applications and other regulatory steps.
At this point, it seems like November would be the earliest Massachusetts sports betting would go live.
If Massachusetts' sports betting rollout mirrors that of neighboring Connecticut, it's feasible that betting kiosks with the best BetMGM odds will be available at MGM Springfield sooner rather than later for sports bettors. In the meantime, let's take a deeper look at what BetMGM Massachusetts will offer in terms of mobile betting and promotions.
The Massachusetts sports betting bill allows for up to 15 licenses for mobile betting apps (seven of them can't be partnered with a retail casino) —one of which seems certain to be BetMGM. As we mentioned above, its Springfield casino will offer retail sports betting under the terms of the bill. It's safe to expect BetMGM Massachusetts to get a mobile license for sports betting as a result.
Established in July of 2018 through a partnership with MGM Resorts International and Entain Holdings, BetMGM currently provides mobile sports betting operations in 17 states and Washington, D.C.
One of the U.S. states that BetMGM operates in is New York, which has turned into a mobile sports betting juggernaut on Massachusetts’ western border. New York's sports betting launch in January 2022 almost certainly applied pressure to lawmakers in the Bay State to get a sports betting deal done.

Here's what you need to know about the potential launch of BetMGM Massachusetts:
- Brick-and-mortar presence at MGM Springfield bolsters chance of BetMGM being granted a Massachusetts mobile sports betting license
- Up to 15 mobile licenses up for grabs in Massachusetts (seven of which will not be tied to retail casinos)
- Four of the five states that border Massachusetts offer sports betting, including New York. BetMGM operates in NY

- BetMGM usually offers a $1,000 risk-free bet for new sign-ups
With a lineage that goes back to the gold lions standing sentry outside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, BetMGM brings a serious degree of panache to the sports betting game. But don’t be fooled—below the neon and glitter of those three recognizable letters is a deep industry knowledge that helps BetMGM churn out an incredible volume and variety of odds.
That’s particularly evident in BetMGM’s NFL odds, which run pages deep, even in the doldrums of the summer. Sure, you can bet on the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl, or just the AFC East. But how about wagering on a Patriots-Packers Super Bowl (+15000)?
How about a Patriots-Bills AFC straight forecast (+550)? Or Mac Jones to throw the most regular-season touchdowns (+5000) or interceptions (+1600)? You can view all those NFL futures markets on BetMGM today.
NFL wagers on BetMGM can get as esoteric as you want them to be, right down to Jakobi Meyers to go over 65.5 catches in the regular season (-115). It’s all bolstered by a polished, easy-to-read interface that makes sports and odds simple to find, features lots of pre-game and in-play statistics, offers live streaming of several sports, and boasts very responsive customer service. All that is likely to come to BetMGM Massachusetts as soon as the state goes live, which could be the beginning of the NFL season.
BetMGM Massachusetts Promo Code & Rewards
The minimum deposit at BetMGM is $10, accepted through options including credit cards, apps like ApplePay and PayPal, online banking or e-check. BetMGM sports betting also allows users to edit straight or parlay bets (such as by adding another team or swapping out a selection) or cash out of some wagers early, which can help bettors cut their losses or avoid a collapse by the team they’ve backed. If only Falcons backers had done that in Super Bowl LI.
BetMGM is also known for its top-tier bonuses, some of which are unlocked through the use of bonus codes that can be found right here at Bookies.com. Once we get word on a launch date, check out our Massachusetts promo codes page for the latest information on the best deals in the state.
For new customers, <strong>BetMGM typically makes available a risk-free bet of up to $1,000</strong>. We expect that to happen should BetMGM Massachusetts launch, too. There are more BetMGM promos year-round like a $50 free bet when referring a friend to sign up.
Then there’s the BetMGM rewards program, which is affiliated with MGM Resorts, and can earn users free hotel nights, show tickets, and other experiences at MGM properties.
They don’t call it “the King of Sportsbooks” for nothing. Sure, that nickname may have originally applied to the huge sports betting lounge at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which remains an experience in its own right. But now, it also applies to a mobile sports betting app loaded with features sure to appeal to hardcore sports bettors and newcomers alike.
