The Champions League returns for another round of games including Tottenham’s clash against Barcelona
Tottenham led 1-0 at the San Siro in their Champions League opener against Internazionale although a subsequent 2-1 defeat means there is plenty of pressure on them to get something against Barcelona.
The match at Wembley should be an interesting clash and Barca have hit the buffers recently, so perhaps this isn’t as cut and dried in the visitors’ favour as the odds might suggest.
Also on Wednesday we see Liverpool head to Italy to clash with Napoli two weeks after beating Paris Saint-Germain.
The Reds are warm favourites although Carlo Ancelotti’s team are no pushover and perhaps the value lies with them to put a dent in the Liverpool bandwagon.
On Tuesday night, Manchester City head to Germany to clash with Hoffenheim, with Pep Guardiola’s side being surprise losers at home to Lyon in their first game.
Manchester United clash with Valencia and, while there seems to be difficulties behind the scenes at Old Trafford, you might expect them to get the better of a Spanish team who were beaten comfortably by Juventus last time out.
