College Bowl Schedule – Game-By-Game Odds & Best Bets

December 13

Celebration Bowl
South Carolina St. (9-3) vs. Prairie View A&M (10-3)
Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
12 p.m. (ABC)

Buzz: Prairie-View won 10 of its final 11 games to capture the SWAC title. The Panthers outlasted Jackson State 23-21 in the SWAC title game as QB Cameron Peters amassed 294 yards passing and 100 yards rushing. South Carolina St. rolled to the MEAC Championship with 7 straight victories, including a 28-17 win over Delaware State in the title game. William Atkins IV leads the Bulldogs’ offense.

Best Bet: There’s no number posted on this game as of publication. Expect the Bulldogs to be a small favorite, around 4.5 points.

LA Bowl
Boise State (9-4) vs. Washington (8-4)
SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California.
8 p.m. (ABC)

Buzz: The Broncos galloped past UNLV to win the Mountain West title for the third straight year. But the Washington Huskies bring plenty of bark and bite. The 8-4 Huskies held their own in the Big Ten this season but were underwater at 4-6 ATS. Desmond Williams Jr. leads the potent Husky offense, which return to Southern California for the 2nd time in a month. Washington scored 38 or more points in its past 5 Big Ten wins. These teams met in the 2019 Las Vegas Bowl, won by Washington 38-7. The Broncos defense runs out of gas in the second half this time, and Huskies mush, mush, mush for the win and cover.

Best Bet: Washington -8.5 (-110) Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam

December 16

Veterans Bowl
Troy (8-5) vs. Jacksonville State (8-5)
Cranton Bowl, Montgomery, Alabama
8 p.m. (ABC)

Buzz: Two Alabama “Group of 5” schools meet in Montgomery for state bragging rights. Jacksonville State came up short in the C-USA Championship Game, scoring 15 points in the 4th quarter in a 19-15 loss to Kennesaw State. The Trojans horse turned into a hearse in the Sun Belt championship as James Madison punched its College Football Playoff ticket with a 31-14 win. Troy, however, held for the backdoor cover as 21-point underdogs. Expect a very competitive game between 2 evenly matched teams that have no common opponents. During Bowl Season, that means take the points.

Best Bet: Jacksonville State +3.5 (-105) Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam

December 17

Cure Bowl
Old Dominion (9-3) vs. South Florida (9-3)
Camping World Stadium, Orlando
5 p.m. (ESPN)

Buzz: This “neutral” site game is about 80 miles from the South Florida campus. That gives the Bulls a slight edge. USF flirted with a “Group of 5” College Football Playoff berth until losses to Memphis and Navy in a 3-week span. The Bulls recovered by winning their final 2 games by a combined 100-21 score over UAB & Rice. ODU won 5 straight to close the season to finish 2nd in the Sun Belt Conference.

Both schools suffered major losses after the regular season. Monarchs QB Colton Joseph entered the transfer portal. Joseph gave ODU 302.6 yards of total offense per game. USF head coach Alex Golesh jumped to Auburn. Ohio State offensive coordinator Brian Hartline coaches the Bulls next season. Meanwhile, OL coach Kevin Patrick gets the interim clipboard in Orlando. The talent pool on USF’s side of the ball runs deeper, especially after Joseph's departure. It’s one thing to lose your head coach. It’s quite another to be without your top-tier starting QB. And for USF, there’s no better way to impress your next coach than with a decisive home state bowl win.

Best Bet: South Florida -5.5 (-105) Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam

68 Ventures Bowl
Louisiana (6-6) vs. Delaware (6-6)
Hancock Whitney Stadium, Mobile, Alabama
8:30 p.m. (ESPN)

Buzz: The Ragin’ Cajuns got good news with the reinstatement of DB Tyree Skipper for this game. Skipper initially received a ban for the rest of the season after an incident on Nov. 8. The Blue Hens capped their first FBS season with a bowl bid, but dropped 3 of 5 down the stretch. Louisiana runs deeper on both sides of the ball. The Cajuns cook up a win and cover.

Best Bet: Louisiana -2.5 (-115) Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam
