Premier League Darts score predictions Week 11

Chisnall can carry on cracking form against confidence-lacking Taylor, while Van Barneveld can cause problems for compatriot Van Gerwen

Arguably all eight players left in the 2015 Premier League Darts are still in contention to qualify for the play-offs, as just two points separate eighth from fourth ahead of Week 11 in Aberdeen’s GE Oil & Gas Arena.

We have seen shocks and drama in this closely-contested competition, and we provide predicted scorelines for the following five fixtures.

Dave Chisnall v Phil Taylor
The Power has a great career record over Chizzy, like most players in his dominant career, but has suffered a woeful run in the Premier League of four losses in his last five.

Chisnall, on the other hand, is high-flying in second place at present, and beat Taylor 7-4 in Week 9, and that scoreline looks tempting again.

PREDICTION: Chisnall 7-4 Taylor – 13/2 with BoyleSports

Stephen Bunting v Adrian Lewis
After going seven matches without a victory this season, 2011 runner-up Lewis has won his last two to move himself out of the drop zone to now be level on points with Taylor, who occupies the final play-off spot.

However, eighth-placed Bunting’s first of two triumphs this campaign came against Lewis, so a draw (best odds with SkyBet) this time out could be on the cards.

PREDICTION: Bunting 6-6 Lewis – 4/1 with SkyBet

James Wade v Gary Anderson
World champion Anderson was tipped by many to claim his second Premier League title before the season, and he won six of his first eight matches.

His form has slightly dipped lately, drawing with Raymond van Barneveld and then losing to Chisnall, but Wade has picked up no points in his previous three, so back the Flying Scotsman on home soil to triumph 7-3.

PREDICTION: Wade 3-7 Anderson – 5/1 with 888sport

Raymond van Barneveld v Michael van Gerwen
Defending champion Barney has dragged himself through this season, after losing five of his first eight, but is somehow just a point behind the top four.

Van Barneveld seems to save his best for big opposition, though, as he has seen off Taylor twice and took a vital point of Anderson to save him from elimination in Week 9. Dutch compatriot Van Gerwen is undefeated this season, but has such a close head-to-head record with Barney, so back a draw here.

PREDICTION: Van Barneveld 6-6 Van Gerwen – 5/1 with SkyBet

Stephen Bunting v Phil Taylor
Taylor is simply due a win, and will be desperate to hold onto his play-off place at the end of the evening, especially as he faces two matches.

Luckily for The Power, he smashed Bunting 7-1 in the The Bullet’s home town of Liverpool and should be able to beat him again after his warm-up against Chisnall earlier in the evening.

PREDICTION: Bunting 4-7 Taylor – 7/1 with PaddyPower
