Hazard now top of the scoring charts after plundering hat-trick against Cardiff City
Eden Hazard has now scored in his past four matches for club and country, with the Belgian clearly enjoying himself under Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
As usual this summer, there were the usual noises about the attacking midfielder making a big money move to Spain, although Hazard has been persuaded to stay for at least another year and he slammed home a hat-trick on Saturday.
This now puts him on five goals for the season in the Premier League and the bookmakers reacted by cutting his odds to be top scorer in the division, with bet365 now chalking up 10/1.
Hazard is a goal ahead of Romelu Lukaku, with his compatriot also faring well for Manchester United in the early part of the season and the striker is a 9/1 poke with Unibet to come away with the top scorer prize this season.
Sergio Aguero remains favourite at 3/1 although he has only scored in one Premier League game to date, with Pep Guardiola potentially resting the Argentine for future games given the size of the squad.
Sadio Mane is on four goals and might have a say in matters this time around, with bet365 now going 10/1 about the Senegal player, while his team-mate Mohamed Salah is 4/1 although the Egyptian isn’t looking at his slick best just yet.
Harry Kane is a 4/1 poke after drawing a blank against Liverpool, with Mauricio Pochettino looking to give his striker a rest and he’s also been playing in a slightly deeper position for Spurs.
