We’ve got eight more Euro 2016 qualifying matches this evening and there are crunch clashes for both Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
Scotland entertain a Germany side who have nearly cemented their spot in France next summer although Joachim Low’s team will be in no mood for charity when they turn out at Hampden Park.
The Scots were dealt a blow when losing 1-0 in Georgia on Friday night, with Republic of Ireland’s inevitable victory over Gibraltar sending them into third spot and they will now look at grinding out a win against a cagey Georgia side this evening.
The other Group D match will see Poland face Gibraltar and we could see the Poles rack up several goals against the European minnows.
Northern Ireland entertain Hungary in Group F and a victory would see them into Euro 2016 finals despite entering the section as fifth seeds.
Michael O’Neill’s team have surpassed expectations in this group, with Greece an absolute shambles and the Northern Irish beat Hungary in Budapest which kicked off their qualification campaign.
Finland should beat the Faroe Islands to keep alive their hopes of finishing third, with Romania strong favourites to beat a Greek side who are already eliminated.
In Group I, it’s a straight tussle between Portugal, Albania and Denmark. The former two teams meet in Elbasan, with the Albianians looking to stun the Portuguese, while the Danes should make short work of Armenia.
