Roy Hodgson’s Three Lions are sitting comfortably at the summit of Group E and will be closing in on qualification in their latest fixtures.

England are steaming ahead of Group E in their search for Euro 2016 qualification, having made a blistering start to their campaign.

Roy Hodgson’s Three Lions have opened a superior lead at the summit of their group, having not dropped a single point so far, with six victories from their opening six encounters.

Carrying the hopes of a nation next year in France, England will undoubtedly go into the prestigious European competition with high expectations after such a sublime qualifying campaign to date, and they are a best-priced 12/1 with Paddy Power to secure silverware success next summer.

Such a thorough set of dominant results all began in Switzerland last year when a 2-0 triumph was obtained, with Danny Welbeck’s double setting the Three Lions on their way, his first international goals in over a year.

A comfortable 5-0 thrashing of San Marino soon followed, and a narrow 1-0 win over Estonia ensured a perfect October period for England in 2014. The year was completed with a simple 3-1 victory against Slovenia, assuring the Wembley outfit of their superior lead in the group.

In 2015, England have carried that clinical form into the latest set of clashes, having dispatched Lithuania and Slovenia, while also drawing with the Republic of Ireland and Italy in international friendlies.

With qualification almost guaranteed at this later stage, Hodgson will be keen for his men to continue their sublime showings and quickly book their place in France without any major hassle.

England will next take on group whipping boys San Marino on September 5, where captain Wayne Rooney will be hoping to break the country’s all-time scoring record held by Sir Bobby Charlton, with a visit from Switzerland occurring four days later at Wembley.

In October, England will surely have already secured their qualification for the Euros, but face Estonia on the the 9th and a final encounter against Lithuania on the 12th.
