Our Europa League treble pays 6/1 and we’re opposing an understrength Liverpool for their match in France
The Europa League might lack the glamour of the Champions League, although it still presents us with betting opportunities that can be grabbed with both hands.
British teams Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic are all involved this evening and we only think Spurs will emerge victorious in their match.
CELTIC travel to Amsterdam to face an AJAX team who should probably be shorter than 4/5. After all, they top the Dutch league and have destroyed a couple of teams at home already.
The Scottish champions don’t even look like the best team domestically at the moment and they have defensive problems ahead of this tricky match against a team who have often featured in the Champions League.
Therefore, we’re happy to put Ajax in our treble and they will be joined by BORDEAUX on the Draw No Bet market against Liverpool. We are tempting to actually just back Willy Sagnol’s team following a competent 2-2 draw away at PSG although the above bet gives us the insurance of a draw.
Brendan Rodgers’ team are typically unpredictable this season and managed a goalless draw at the Emirates but then served up a stinker of a performance at Old Trafford when losing 3-1.
With rumours that several first-team players will be absent this evening, we are happy to side with the home team who are one of the better teams in a competitive Ligue 1.
Then we move on to Tottenham v Qarabag. Spurs aren’t very backable at 1/3 to win this game although Sky Bet offer a favourable 11/10 about Spurs on the Draw No Bet market.
The visitors might be looking to set up not to concede and we’re confident that Tottenham can hold their opponents at bay and cause some damage at the other end.
AJAX to beat Celtic
BORDEAUX draw no bet to beat Liverpool
SPURS win to nil against Qarabag
