Wimbledon 2015 day five best bets

Marin Cilic forms part of our Wimbledon treble for day five of the tournament

The third round at Wimbledon 2015 is well underway, so provide punters with five top tips to take across the men and ladies’ draw on Friday.

Marin Cilic to beat John Isner
American giant Isner made history here in 2010, as he took part in the longest ever match in the history of tennis in the first round against Nicolas Mahut, eventually beating the Frenchman after 11 hours and five minutes.

Isner has made a habit of taking part in epic clashes over the years, and once took Croatian Cilic to five sets at the Australian Open back in 2011, with the final set being 9-7 in the Croatian’s favour. Cilic has won all four of their meetings, though, so is a tempting 21/4 price with to triumph 3-2 again.

Richard Gasquet to beat Grigor Dimitrov
Despite Dimitrov being favoured by the bookies to win this match, perhaps due to his higher ranking and run to the semis here last year, he has never beaten Gasquet in four attempts.

In their only Grand Slam meeting, at the French Open in 2012, Gasquet won 3-1, and is 5/1 with William Hill to do so once more.

Milos Raonic to beat Nick Krygios
Young Australian Kyrgios is another that can threaten to cause an odds upset, but is likely to come undone against Canadian Raonic, who also reached the semis here last year.

Montenegrin-born Raonic beat Kyrgios in four sets in the quarters in 2014, and is temptingly priced at 10/3 with Sportingbet to win 3-1 again, where he could meet one of Gasquet and Dimitrov in the fourth round.
