QPR's Charlie Austin has scored in his last two visits to clubs based in the Midlands and has great odds to score at Molineux against Wolves
Charlie Austin could well leave QPR before the end of the transfer window, though he is set to start against Wolves. The striker dispatched the second goal against Cardiff and always looked threatening throughout the match.
He is 2/1 to net anytime with Sky Bet against Wolves and the last time the club visited the Midlands was April of last season when they recorded a 3-3 draw at Aston Villa, with Austin finding the net. Three days earlier, the striker was on target as they disposed of West Bromwich Albion 4-1 at The Hawthorns.
To open the scoring against what is a susceptible Wolves rearguard, Austin is 11/2 with Coral and with the service he gets from established Championship stars Matt Phillips, Massimo Luongo and Karl Henry, chances to make the net bulge should be aplenty.
Also, he has the beating of the Wolves defence in the air and the relationship he has built up with Phillips over the past season has flourished into an almost telepathic like understanding between the pair.
The winger knows exactly where Austin will be in the penalty area, the runs he makes and when, and how much pace and power to put on his deliveries so the trajectory is exact enough for Austin to connect and score.
Chris Ramsey’s side are 14/5 with Coral for the win and, like Austin, love visiting the Midlands. Solidified at the back by experienced Championship campaigners, in Clint Hill, a threat from a set piece if ever there was one and who also scored last time out (25/1 anytime with PaddyPower) plus Nedum Onouha, Paul Konchesky and James Perch, Wolves’ way through could be tough.
For Ramsey’s men to score at least three or more goals like they have on their last two previous competitive visits to the Midlands, they are priced at 15/2 with Coral.
