Copa America Group C: Brazil and Colombia will run riot

Colombia and Brazil starred at the World Cup last summer and focus will now switch to the Copa America, as they both challenge in Group C.

The Copa America is one of the most prestigious international tournaments on the planet, with millions of viewers, and it’s last year’s World Cup hosts Brazil who will soon be in action, along with last summer’s quarter-finalists Colombia.

Colombia v Venezuela
Colombia, led by Jose Pekerman, will be confident of racking up the goals in this clash against the group’s underdogs, and have the firepower in order to do so as well.

One of the starring nations of last year’s World Cup in Brazil, Colombia are a best-priced 13/10 with Bet Victor to secure an opening victory to nil, as they aim to clinch their first Copa crown since 2001.

Within the Colombians’ ranks is 2014 World Cup Golden Boot victor James Rodriguez, whose performances in last summer’s competition earned the prolific playmaker a big-money move to Real Madrid, and he is 10/1 with Bet Victor to score two or more against Venezuela.

The Madrid attacker won’t be the only threat, though, with Sevilla’s Europa League winning hero Carlos Bacca set to lead the line, and is 5/1 with bet365 to strike the game’s last goal.

Brazil v Peru
With a new coach in charge, the Samba Boys will look to banish memories of that horrific World Cup 7-1 semi-final defeat to eventual champions Germany with Copa America victory.

Dunga’s Brazilian outfit are 10/3 with Coral to strike four or more goals against a potential poor Peru side, and are likely to dominate proceedings with the likes of Chelsea’s Oscar and Barcelona’s Champions League winner Neymar featuring.

Brazil superstar Neymar literally broke his back at the World Cup trying to carry the weight of the expectant nation on his shoulders, and is 5/2 with Ladbrokes to net a dazzling double or more against the Peruvians in their campaign opener.

The tournament hopefuls also have Liverpool magician Philippe Coutinho in their ranks and, after netting his first ever international goal in a recent friendly clash, is 9/1 with bet365 to grab the opener in his latest outing.

Sensational Brazil will be firing on all cylinders as per usual and, with Neymar in attack, will surely overcome their opposition by a supremely wide margin, as they get set to showcase their true rampant Samba skills.

Betting tip: Rodriguez to score two or more @ 10/1 with Bet Victor
