Sevilla boast an array of former Premier League players, so we pick out who could pounce against Zenit St Petersburg

As the Europa League returns, holders Sevilla take a break from their top four La Liga challenge to host Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg for a thrilling quarter-final first leg.

The Bathtubs have been brilliant this season, so Andre Villas-Boas’ boys will have their work cut out, especially in the absence of goal hero Hulk.

Unbeaten at home across all competitions, and having kept four clean sheets on the continent this campaign, Sevilla are priced at a superb 7/4 by SkyBet to win to nil.

Unai Emery’s men have a raft of former Premier League players in their ranks, so here are five top shouts to help Sevilla sink Zenit, that have also plied their trade in England’s top-tier.

First up is a face that will be familiar to both Arsenal fans, and those of Madrid giants Atletico and Real. Sevilla academy graduate Jose Antonio Reyes, famous for bagging the dramatic brace that helped Los Blancos lift La Liga in 2007, has netted 20 times over two stints with his boyhood club, so is worth backing at a tempting 12/1 with SkyBet to score last.

Liverpool-owned attacker Iago Aspas, meanwhile, must make the most of his loan, and will be eager to impress for the Bathtubs if given the chance. Having grabbed 10 goals in 21 games, the 27-year-old is 7/4 with Coral to hit home anytime, with the majority of his strikes so far having occurred in cup competitions.

Fellow Spanish forward Gerard Deulofeu also enjoyed a stint on Merseyside, and notched four strikes and five assists for loan club Everton last term. After being farmed out by Barcelona yet again, the youngster is available at 7/1 with SkyBet to prove a point to his parent club by bagging the opener.

Dennis Suarez, formerly of Manchester City, is another starlet to look out for. The highly-rated Sky Blues made just two senior appearances for the Citizens, but was prolific for their under-21 team, having sunk six goals and supplied seven assists in 18 outings.

After hitting two in Europe already this term, the exciting attacking midfielder is being offered at a terrific 12/5 by William Hill to torment Zenit anytime.

Last but not least is former QPR capture Stephane Mbia, currently on seven goals for the season, and mooted for a Premier League return.

The Cameroon captain is a crucial cog in Sevilla’s side, and is available at 4/1 to make the difference anytime, or 12/1 to draw first blood, both with Bet365.

Should none of these tips tickle your fancy, top Bathtubs scorer Carlos Bacca is also a fantastic 5/1 from William Hill to bag a brace or better.
