Five to watch out for as Monaco travel to Turin to test Juve

Patrice Evra faces former team Monaco

Take a peek at the most tempting prices as Monaco travel to Turin for a Champions League duel with Juventus

It’s been a while since Italian giants Juventus met Monaco. The last time these two teams tussled, back in 1998, Alessandro del Piero still wore the famous black and white stripes, while a certain Thierry Henry impressed enough to earn the Old Lady’s attention.

A lot has changed for both sides since then but, after the French principality club kicked Arsenal out of this continental competition, the Turin team will need to be in top gear to triumph.

All eyes will certainly be on Old Lady left back Patrice Evra for this encounter, as the France full back faces his former club, where he spent four seasons.

The daring defender is a best market price of 33/1 with Coral to have the final say against his ex-employers, and impress once again on the big stage, ahead of his return to the Stade Louis II Stadium.

Another Manchester United old boy, Carlos Tevez, is 5/1 with William Hill to take travelling team Monaco to task and bag a brace or better.

The Argentina attacker has six in eight European appearances this season, including opening goals in his last two continental clashes, so is worth backing at Bet365’s excellent offer of 3/1 to fire home first.

Brilliant Basque forward Fernando Llorente provides another Premier League link, after being mooted with a summer switch to Tottenham.

The Spanish sharpshooter, nicknamed ‘the Lion King’, would be a canny capture for many a team, but is 5/4 with SkyBet to prove to Juve he has what it takes to stay by scoring anytime.

Yet another Old Trafford former favourite, Dimitar Berbatov, will also be attempting to make an impact in Italy. At 5/1 with Bet365 to bag a goal anytime, the graceful Bulgarian still has the skills to trouble Juve, after proving a menace for Monaco against the Gunners.

Young French forward Anthony Martial, meanwhile, is tipped for big things, and took over the frontman mantle as Berbatov was rested last time out in Ligue 1. Everton are apparently intrigued by the striking starlet, who is tempting at 12/1 with SkyBet to sink the final goal.

All odds were correct at time of posting.
