Monaco host Juventus while Real face Atleti in the Madrid derby for the last of the quarters second leg matches

Away from England and the Premier League, the Champions League is back and there are two quarter-final second leg crunch clashes on Wednesday evening.

The highlight of the night is no doubt the Madrid derby between Real and Atletico in what is a repeat of last season’s final, while Serie A title holders Juventus travel to cash-rich club Monaco too.

We provide some top tips for punters from both encounters…

Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid
Remarkably, these two teams have already faced each other seven times this term in all competitions, but what is even more remarkable is that Atleti are unbeaten in all of them.

Diego Simeone’s men have travelled the short distance to the Bernabeu three times this term, drawing twice and winning the other, netting in each one. Another score draw here will be enough to see them through to the semis after a goalless share of the spoils in the first leg at their Vicente Calderon ground.

A 1-1 result in 90 minutes is a tempting 7/1 price with BetVictor, which is all the more enticing as Real are without attackers Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema for the match.

Atleti have spread out their 12 goals amongst their team against Los Blancos this term, but Mario Manzukic and Raul Garcia have both scored twice. They are tempting chances at 31/10 with 888.com and 11/2 with Betfair to net again anytime.

Monaco v Juventus
In the other tie of the night, Turin titans Juve hold a slender 1-0 lead going into their second leg at the Stade Louis II. Arturo Vidal got the crucial penalty early in the second half, and the talented Chilean is 9/1 with Coral to score first again.

These two team have played each other here once before, back in 1998, with the Monegasque outfit winning 3-2. That scoreline once more in their favour is a 60/1 shout with BetVictor.

The likes of attacking legends Thierry Henry and Alessandro Del Piero were on target that day, so back modern day top talents and former Manchester United teammates Dimitar Berbatov and Carlos Tevez to net anytime. They are 85/40 with BetVictor and 3/1 with Ladbrokes respectively in the anytime market.
