For Udinese, Milan teams are like buses. You wait ages to face one of Serie A's fallen giants, then two come to their stadium in back-to-back battles.
Having beaten AC Milan 2-1 last time out and upset Inter at the San Siro earlier this season, Udinese are well worth taking at a best price 13/5 with Coral to do the double over Roberto Mancini’s men.
This fixture against the Nerazzurri will matter to Udinese boss Andrea Stramaccioni an awful lot, because the young coach got sacked for finishing ninth when in charge of Inter two seasons ago. It is thus ironic they sit in that exact spot in the Italian top-flight table almost two years on.
Mancini, a more decorated individual, is 13/10 (with BetVictor, Boylesports and William Hill) to take one of his predecessors to task in Udine, while a draw is a top price 12/5 at Sky Bet. Inter will be wary of this opposition, though, as they have beaten them once in the last six meetings across all competitions.
Udinese captain Antonio Di Natale has been a thorn in the Nerazzurri’s side in recent years. Age is no barrier to the 37-year-old, scoring six times in his last 10 outings against them.
Deadly Di Natale is decent value with 888.com offering the best price of 37/19 for him to add to this fine tally, and 15 for the season across all competitions, anytime.
Attacking alternative Cyril Thereau, meanwhile, netted the winner at the San Siro in the reverse fixture and is better in that market with the same bookie at 14/5.
Inter have their own striking threats to worry Udinese in Argentine pair Mauro Icardi and Rodrigo Palacio. The latter is in lethal form on the road with six in as many away games. Palacio is a 2/1 anytime chance to net again.
Leading Nerazzurri marksman Icardi, meanwhile, boasts impressive stats of 22 in 42 outings across all competitions, including the opener in Inter’s last away game. It’s 11/2 with BetVictor and Paddy Power for awesome Icardi to draw first blood at Udinese.
Betting tip: Udinese beat Inter @ 13/5 with Coral.
