The English Football League begins this weekend as teams from the Championship, League 1 and League 2 open up their 2019/20 campaigns.
Naturally, enthusiasm for the new football season is as high as ever, and bettors are putting the finishing touches on their season-long bets.
Here, we’ve picked out the best bets to place with the best online bookies.
Championship Winner Tip – Fulham – 15/2 (Sportingbet)
Fulham will be looking to bounce back to the Premier League at first time of asking and they are second favourites to win the Championship title this season.
In what has been a tough summer for most Championship teams in the transfer market due to financial constraints, Fulham appear to have done some good business in the transfer window.
Keeping Aleksander Mitrovic will come as a massive boost to Fulham and the Serbian is 6/1 favourite to be top scorer in the division this season. Adding Anthony Knockaert and Ivan Cavaleiro to their attacking options gives the Cottagers the best attacking line-up in the Championship and the goals should flow at Craven Cottage this season.
The only concern is the inexperience of Scott Parker as Fulham boss as he prepares for his first full season as a manager.
Championship Relegation Tip – Hull – 5/1 (BetVictor)
Hull surprised many by staying up last season, but I expect another tough campaign for the Tigers and that could result in relegation.
Nigel Adkins has left as manager after overseeing Hull's survival fight last term with former Doncaster Rovers boss Grant McCann replacing him at the helm.
This will be McCann's first experience in the Championship as a manager and with money in short supply at the KCOM Stadium he has not been able to strengthen his squad too much.
There is still turmoil off the field with Owners Assem and Ehab Allam still trying to sell the club and if McCann does not get off to a good start the pressure will be on Hull.

League One Top Scorer Tip – Ivan Toney – 14/1 (Bet365)
Peterborough are a team that are normally full of goals and that is why striker Ivan Toney gets my pick as top scorer in League One at 14/1.
The former Newcastle man, pictured above, netted 23 goals in all competitions for Posh last season and if he can stay fit I would expect him to again break the 20-goal barrier this season.
Peterborough have the likes of Marcus Maddison and George Boyd providing the ammunition for Toney this season so he should get plenty of chances in a free-scoring Peterborough side.
The only concern is if Toney is prised away by a Championship club before the close of the transfer window, but if he stays I expect another big season from the prolific forward.
League Two Top Scorer Tip – Nicky Maynard – 12/1 (Betfair)
Mansfield new boy Nicky Maynard proved last season he was one of the best strikers in League Two with Bury, firing them to promotion, so Mansfield signing him this summer is something of a massive coup.
I expect Mansfield to be up there challenging for promotion again this season after missing out on the play-offs last term and that should mean plenty of goalscoring opportunities for Maynard.
Maynard could arguably play at a higher level than League Two after netting 20 goals in the division and he should again be amongst the top scorers this season.
League Two Relegation Tip – Macclesfield – 7/2 (Blacktype)
Macclesfield pulled off the great escape when avoiding relegation last season under Sol Campbell, but this season could be a step too far for the Silkmen.
There are still ongoing problems off-the-field at Moss Rose with players not being paid on time and those issues will affect morale in the squad and inevitably results on the pitch.
Macclesfield have lost 11 players from last season and with little money available to strengthen in the transfer window the squad looks too thin to cope with the demands of League Two.
All in all, it looks another season of struggle on and off the pitch for Macclesfield.
