Those Masters hangovers don’t last long these days. Golf betting fans have more than enough action available at this week’s RBC Heritage at Harbour Town. The field is very strong at the top of the field in Hilton Head, South Carolina. And there’s very little time to rest before we roll into the next major with the PGA Championship May 20-23 in Kiawah Island.
Defending champion Webb Simpson is the betting favorite at +1100 in the latest RBC Heritage odds, while Dustin Johnson is second at +1250 coming off a missed cut last week in his Masters defense. Patrick Cantlay, who also missed the cut at Augusta, is third at +1700.

RBC Heritage Expert Picks & Predictions
Si Woo Kim Top-10 Finish (+475, PointsBet)
Kim is coming off a T-12 at Augusta and played even better than he scored. He was third in the field in Strokes Gained: Approach, and that’s the name of the game this week with Harbour Town’s tiny greens. He’s been in strong form all month, including a T-9 at the Players Championship, and he finished runner-up at Harbour Town three years ago. We’re on Kim for a Top-10 finish this week at +475 at PointsBet.

RBC Heritage Betting Tips
We all know what to expect at Harbour Town by now. This is one of the few remaining courses on Tour where bomb & gauge is not advised. This classic Hilton Head track is heavily tree-lined with skinny landing areas, and fairways will be at a premium.
Strokes Gained: Approach is especially important this week, but Strokes Gained: Off The Tee might not be the best indicator. Heavy hitters can usually gain a lot of ground on the field by sending it 330 yards with the driver no matter where it ends up. Not so this week. Placement is important at this course, so we’re looking at driving accuracy more than any other tournament.
Masters performance is obviously important as an indicator of current form, but this is a completely different type of challenge. Don’t fade a player solely because they didn’t look great at Augusta, nor should you blindly take all the guys who contended in the Masters.
