Pickford hoping to keep another clean sheet against Croatia, with Hugo Lloris slight favourite for award
There are four teams left in the World Cup and England owe their presence in the semi-finals to a number of key players including Jordan Pickford.
Nobody would have considered the young goalkeeper to be England’s number one after the 2014 World Cup, although he has shone in Russia this summer and is now 11/4 to win the Golden Glove award.
The winner of the trophy is decided by the FIFA Technical Study Group, with Hugo Lloris trading as the slight favourite at 9/4 with bet365 and that’s mainly down to the fact that France are the outright favourites.
Lloris was able to pull off an excellent double save against Uruguay when his team were leading the game and Pickford managed something similar against the Swedes.
That said, Thibaut Courtois has been a safe pair of hands and the Belgian is an 11/4 chance, with the Chelsea stopper able to stop pretty much everything that came his way against Brazil.
All odds were correct at time of posting.
