Ladbrokes chalk up 9/5 Leicester City despite Foxes being three points clear in title race
Who’s going to win the Premier League title? The picture isn’t particularly clearer after the four challengers fluffed their lines during the week, with Leicester City the only side to avoid defeat.
It hasn’t stopped the Foxes being chalked up at a backable 9/5 by Ladbrokes, with the Magic Sign still willing to take on Leicester with this quote and Claudio Ranieri’s side head to Vicarage Road on Saturday.
Similarly, Ladbrokes are out to get Tottenham Hotspur in their satchel, with Spurs available at 9/4 following their 1-0 defeat at the Boleyn Ground which saw the north London side particularly slow out of the traps in the first half.
Effectively, you can back Leicester and Spurs at even money or better and have the two against Arsenal and Manchester City, with the Gunners losing once again after Swansea came from behind to win 2-1 at the Emirates.
Ladbrokes still aren’t keen to oppose Arsene Wenger’s team at 10/3, with Manchester City a 7/1 chance and Manuel Pellegrini’s side are chasing their tails after losing 3-0 at Anfield.
Manchester United are 33/1 for the title although surely have too much ground to make up on the leading contenders. However, the Red Devils could yet land a top four spot after beating Watford on Wednesday night.
Louis van Gaal’s side are 21/10 with Ladbrokes to secure a Champions League spot after consecutive wins against Watford and Arsenal, with United enjoying a new lease of life even if they were fortunate to beat the Hornets.
Manchester City are still regarded as likely to finish in the top four and do host Aston Villa on Saturday, although William Hill’s 1/3 about them qualifying for the Champions League still looks a touch on the skinny side.
