Liverpool fourth favourites to win Champions League after 3-0 win, with Barcelona heading the market
It was another famous European night at Anfield, with Liverpool stunning Manchester City 3-0 to claim a huge first leg victory in the Champions League, with the teams set to clash at the Etihad on Tuesday.
The Reds were flying out of the traps and were three up at the interval before defending doggedly in the second half, with bet365 going 11/2 about Liverpool winning the Champions League this term.
They still have the small matter of getting past Manchester City next week although a three-goal advantage puts them in the box seat, with the Premier League leaders now priced at 16/1 with bet365 to win the competition.
Many were raving that Pep Guardiola’s side were the best in Europe although they have a mountain to climb against Liverpool. If they concede to their opponents at home, then they will need to score five goals.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are the 9/4 joint-favourites to win the Champions League, with Bayern Munich 10/3 and it appears that three teams will go through to the last four of the competition.
All of them enjoyed comprehensive first leg wins, with BetVictor offering a Name the Finalists market and you can get 3/1 that we see Barca clashing with Real in the final.
BetVictor have 9/2 that Liverpool clash with Barcelona in the Champions League final which would bring the Reds face-to-face with former player Luis Suarez, while a Liverpool v Bayern final can be backed at 5/1.
