Swansea will certainly miss Wilfried Bony as he looks set to sign for Manchester City following interest in the Ivorian at the north-west club.
Bony was the top Premier League goalscorer last year and he is in the sights of Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini as he seeks to further strengthen his squad for a final push on the title.
City have clawed their way to the top of the Premier League where they sit level on points with Chelsea. Pellegrini has been plagued by injuries in his squad and the absence of Sergio Aguero, Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko has resulted in David Silva and James Milner operating in more advanced positions than would have been ideal.
Nevertheless, the signing of Bony would bolster the City attack somewhat and Pellegrini will be hopeful of him making the ideal paring with fellow Ivorian Yaya Toure as part of a title-winning City side.
Bony has been in excellent form for Swansea since his arrival in July 2013, however it was always unlikely that a player of his ability would escape the attention of the bigger clubs. So it has proved and we can expect to hear news of his definite signing any time soon.
