David Moyes ready for summer return to management, with bookies making the Scot 3/1 favourite for Everton post
Roberto Martinez continues to be Everton manager, although the vultures are circling the Spaniard after a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool.
All might be forgiven should the Toffees win the FA Cup although a more likely scenario is that Martinez will be relieved of his duties come the end of the season and perhaps Bill Kenwright is ready to give David Moyes another go.
Moyes spent eleven largely successful seasons in charge of Everton, with the Scot having revitalised the fortunes of the club on a modest budget and he will probably wish he’d never made that ill-fated move to Old Trafford.
After a brief stint at Real Sociedad, Moyes is now back in the UK and ready to go back into management, with Aston Villa among those clubs who are interested in his services.
However, it could be that Moyes is ready to rebuff Villa and Celtic should Martinez be axed at Goodison. The Scot is ready to return to football management and Everton could be the best fit.
Paddy Power offer 3/1 about the 52-year-old, with Jose Mourinho available at 10/1 although it appears as though PSG and Manchester United have major claims on the Portuguese.
Marcelo Bielsa is a 6/1 poke and Eddie Howe is a 12/1 shot, with the Bournemouth manager having impressed at the Vitality Stadium although one can’t help but feel that Moyes could be the one winging his way back to Goodison.
All odds were correct at time of posting.
