Frank de Boer could be the manager lined up to rescue Swansea City after Paul Clement was sacked days before Christmas
Frank de Boer is the 7/4 favourite with BetVictor to become the next manager of Swansea City, with the Dutchman having endured just a short stint at Crystal Palace before being given his marching orders.
Tony Pulis was originally the short favourite although he’s now drifted to 4/1 and perhaps is not required by the Welsh club, with Leon Britton available at odds of 6/1 and the caretaker boss has a job interview as he prepares the team for their next few games.
Ronald Koeman is a 6/1 poke and is another Dutchman who could see the potential in taking charge at this time.
Paul Clement kept Swansea City in the Premier League last season but the Englishman has not looked like doing the same this time around and it wasn’t a huge surprise to see him given his marching orders.
It means that the Swans are looking for a new gaffer and Tony Pulis could fit the bill, with BetVictor going 1/3 about the former Stoke and West Brom manager who has previously done well when it comes to keeping clubs in the top flight.
Pulis could be interested in a return to top-flight management, with the Welshman having also kept Crystal Palace alive before, although supporters might not warm to someone who was relieved of his duties at West Brom a few weeks ago due to poor results.
Leon Britton is a 3/1 shot with BetVictor and he’s become part of the coaching staff already at the Liberty Stadium, although many will question whether he has the suitability to become manager at this stage.
Ronald Koeman is a 6/1 poke and would like to restore his reputation after a dismal time at Everton earlier this term, while Ryan Giggs is a 14/1 chance although he’s another potential candidate who doesn’t really have the knowhow to get a team out of trouble.
It appears as though Pulis could be first port of call for a Swansea team who are desperate to avoid relegation although the bookies think they are currently doomed with their quotes of 1/4.
All odds were correct at time of posting.
