Claudio Ranieri is 3/1 to become the next manager of Watford FC

Watford continue to remain a Premier League club despite chopping and changing their manager on a frequent basis.

Walter Mazzarri looks set to leave the club over the next few days, with the Italian having kept the Hornets in the top flight although it appears as though he will go the same way as Quique Sanchez Flores.

It means that Watford will be searching for a replacement and Claudio Ranieri could return to England, with the Italian the 3/1 favourite with BetVictor to be installed in the Vicarage Road hot seat.

Ranieri famously won the Premier League title with Leicester during the 2015/16 season although the current campaign saw the manager sacked as the Foxes flirted with relegation.

Alan Pardew will also be interested in a return to management and the former Crystal Palace manager is currently second favourite at 8/1 along with Nigel Pearson who is also the same price.

Pardew and Pearson continue to be linked with any vacant position that comes available, while Kenny Jackett does have Watford connections although it’s doubtful that the former Wolves and Millwall manager will be hired for a top flight position.

Slavisa Jokanovic makes more appeal at odds of 16/1 considering he was previously manager of Watford and his record with Fulham this season illustrates that he could do a good job at the Hertfordshire club.

Gary Neville is a 25/1 shot to take his first English management role, while Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink could be an interesting pick at odds of 25/1.
