We’ve selected a team of goalscorers as we aim to win Paddy Power’s £250,000 Hotshot Jackpot
Paddy Power are back with the Premier League Hotshot Jackpot this week, with the Irish bookmaker putting another £250,000 in the pot and it’s simple and free to enter.
You simply need to have a Paddy Power account and you’ll then be able to play the Hotshot Jackpot, with customers needing to select a player that they think will find the net in the selected matches.
There is also the option to choose No Goalscorer and, as you can see from our picks below, we have gone for this when it comes to the Stoke v West Brom game as we expect it to be low-scoring.
Saturday 24th September
Bournemouth v Everton 15:00
Hard to ignore the obvious here. Lukaku scored a hat-trick at Sunderland and then claimed a goal against Middlesbrough. We expect the Belgian to feature and find the net.
PICK: Romelu Lukaku
Liverpool v Hull 15:00
Maybe this won’t be the goalfest that some expect, although we’re happy to get with Bobby Firmino to find the net after he bagged a brace recently against Leicester.
PICK: Roberto Firmino
Middlesbrough v Tottenham 15:00
Heung-Min Son gets the nod thanks to his stats so far this season, with the South Korean likely to get forward on several occasions against a Boro defence struggling to keep clean sheets.
PICK: Heung-Min Son
Stoke v West Brom 15:00
We did consider Wilfried Bony or Salomon Rondon although we’re expecting the game to be cagey and perhaps No Goalscorer can win this one.
PICK: No Goalscorer
Swansea v Man City 15:00
Go with the obvious and back the returning Aguero to find the net at least once.
PICK: Sergio Aguero
Arsenal v Chelsea 17:30
Alexis Sanchez scored twice at Hull and will be hungry for more against Chelsea’s Terry-less defence.
PICK: Alexis Sanchez
Sunday 25th September
West Ham v Southampton 16:00
We’re expecting the Saints to win this one and Charlie Austin has scored in his last three games. So him.
PICK: Charlie Austin
Monday 26th September
Burnley v Watford 20:00
Etienne Capoue is a tempting pick considering the midfielder can’t stop finding the net but we’re opting for the penalty-taking Troy Deeney instead.
PICK: Troy Deeney
