Get ready for the start of the 2016/17 Premier League season at!

The 2016/17 Premier League season has finally arrived, with every match full of intrigue on the opening weekend!

It all gets under way on Saturday lunchtime when champions Leicester City travel to the KC Stadium to face a Hull City who are no longer managed by Steve Bruce. Mike Phelan takes temporary charge of the Tigers and it’s a difficult opening match for the top flight new boys who will have to contend with the flying Foxes.

There is then a spate of 3pm matches, with Burnley hoping to take advantage against a Swansea side who have recently lost Andre Ayew and Ashley Williams to West Ham and Everton respectively. Palace and West Brom meet at Selhurst Park and we should expect a cagey match, while Middlesbrough v Stoke could also be a low-scoring encounter.

Everton start a new chapter with Ronald Koeman although Spurs should be difficult opponents and Tottenham will be eyeing the Premier League title after narrowly missing out last term. Southampton begin the post-Koeman era with a clash against Watford, with Claude Puel hoping to follow successfully in the footsteps of his predecessor.

Manchester City are title favourites and face Sunderland on Saturday evening, with the Sunday matches full of intrigue and a potential debut for Paul Pogba following his big money move to Manchester United.

The Red Devils travel to Bournemouth, with Jose Mourinho’s side warm favourites to win, while Sunday afternoon’s clash between Arsenal and Liverpool looks very tasty too. Jurgen Klopp has recruited well this summer and it could see the Reds off to a flyer.

On Monday night, we have a London derby to round things off, with Chelsea taking on a West Ham side who have kept Dimitri Payet and now have Ayew in the mix.
