A full programme of midweek Premier League matches, including Liverpool’s clash with Arsenal on Wednesday night

Hard on the heels of FA Cup third round weekend comes a full hit of Premier League clashes, with Liverpool v Arsenal the standout match.

The Gunners play at Anfield on Wednesday night hoping to stay top of the table, with the Reds looking to climb towards the top four.

The action starts on Tuesday night with three matches including Newcastle’s game against a Manchester United team who have been heavily criticised for their playing style.

Aston Villa look down and out and they host Crystal Palace, while Bournemouth and West Ham meet at the Vitality Stadium.

Chelsea look rejuvenated under Guus Hiddink and they face the Baggies, with Manchester City involved in a north-west clash against Everton.

Southampton’s season is unravelling and they face a Watford team who have been surprise package so far this season. Stoke and Norwich fall into a similar bracket and they meet at the Britannia Stadium.

Swansea will look to bounce back from their FA Cup defeat at Oxford when they host Sunderland, with the Black Cats badly needing a win to haul themselves away from trouble.

The Liverpool v Arsenal clash looks an intriguing one as Jurgen Klopp welcomes back pretty much his entire first team after they sat out Friday’s FA Cup draw at Exeter.

Meanwhile, the Gunners will be hoping to illustrate their title credentials and six of their ten away games have ended in victory, with Arsene Wenger knowing three points from this match could set them on their way to a first title in over ten years.

Finally, Leicester are back at White Hart Lane to face Tottenham, although Jamie Vardy could once again miss out for the visitors.
