Rugby World Cup 2015 tips – Wallabies will wrap up Pool A with Wales win

Aussies in pole position to top group because Wales have struggled with injuries, so Wallabies real value in half-time/full-time with bet365.

Everyone presumed this game would be the decider for who would progress to the quarter-finals along with England but, after the host’s implosion, these two nations already find themselves in the last eight. This match now will decide who tops the group and avoids an awkward clash with South Africa.

Australia are firm favourites for the win at 4/11 with Paddy Power, and it is easy to see why. They have beaten Wales in their last 10 matches, an incredible record considering the strength that has run through this Welsh outfit in recent years.

Wales have done well so far, with their biggest test passed at Twickenham by edging England, but a win here at 11/4 with Sky Bet might be asking a little too much.

Warren Gatland’s men have been ravaged by injury before, and during this tournament and that has to catch up with them soon, despite the insistence of their coach that he has a fully fit squad.

With the Welsh already into the knockout stages, their players could be forgiven for taking it easy to ensure they don’t end up on the treatment table.

One factor that really does count against Wales is the location of this clash. They are so often driven on by their vociferous home crowd at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff but, while they will still have the majority of support at Twickenham, it will not have the same effect.

The Wallabies have probably been the best side in this pool so far, winning all three games, scoring 129 points and conceding just 29.

Just two teams have scored more than the men from Down Under and only Ireland, who find themselves in a far easier pool, have been breached on less occasions. The handicap here is Australia -7, and with that priced at evens with bet365 it would be foolish to miss out.

The Aussies also look a great price on the half-time/full-time. They have started very well in this World Cup, putting 17 points on England last time out, and the 10/11 with bet365 for them to be leading after both 40 and 80 minutes is not to be sniffed at.

BETTING TIP: Australia beat Wales at half-time and full-time @ 10/11 with bet365.
