Saturday football accumulator tips – five teams for the coupon

We’re expecting wins for Stoke City and Derby County on Saturday afternoon

Bring on another weekend of football and we’ve gone through the coupon and picked out five teams which we think stand a better chance than the odds suggest.

STOKE CITY to beat Bournemouth @ 8/5 with Betfred
The Potters are a big old price considering that the Cherries have been well beaten at Anfield and Carrow Road, with Bournemouth’s win at Upton Park more down to bad defending by West Ham who gift-wrapped goals for the visitors.

Mark Hughes was encouraged by his team’s victory at Fulham in the League Cup and Stoke are made of stern stuff at the Britannia, with Bojan’s return from injury adding a new dimension to the team’s attack.

DERBY COUNTY to beat MK Dons @ 21/20 with Betfred
The Rams have triumphed in their last two away matches and bossed the second half against Burnley on Monday night but struggled to get the breakthrough. Nevertheless, Paul Clement’s team are on the up and should prove too strong for an MK Dons side who are struggling to adapt to life in the Championship.

PETERBOROUGH to beat Bradford City @ 7/2 with Betfred
Posh are a massive price, with Graham Westley having taken charge this week and they trounced Oldham in their last away match when they were manager-less.

Bradford have not enjoyed the best of starts and the 7/2 is simply too big about a United team sure to improve after a laboured opening to the campaign.

BURTON to beat Chesterfield @ 9/4 with Betfred
The Brewers are top of League One and they look overpriced to beat a Spireites team who might not be able to find a way past a solid defence which is doing Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink proud. Albion are not top by chance and are continuing the good work of last season.

BROMLEY to beat Chester @ 23/20 with Betfred
Bromley are absolutely flying after five straight wins, with Chester unlikely to trouble this excellent run which could catapult them into the play-off places come the end of the season.
