The bet365 1000/1 Accumulator for 2017/18 Football Season

Middlesbrough's Adam Clayton is comforted by Manchester City's Vincent Kompany (right) after the final whistle during the Premier League match at the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough.

We’ve put together an early accumulator covering the top four divisions that pays over £10k for a £10 bet

There were loads of punters celebrating at the end of the 2016/17 season after several hot pots won their respective divisions. Chelsea, Newcastle, Sheffield United and Portsmouth were all punted at the beginning of the campaign, with the latter coming through to win the League Two title in dramatic style.

We’re now looking ahead to the 2017/18 season and we’ve lined up four more teams to win their respective divisions. The accumulator pays out at odds of just over 1000/1 and that means a massive return of over £10k if you stick £10 on this multiple and it cops. Here are the selections.

Premier League: Manchester City @ 15/8
Pep Guardiola should get things right at Manchester City, with the Spaniard recruiting more quality in Bernardo Silva and Ederson. It’s implausible that they won’t be in the mix, with champions Chelsea having Champions League distractions and they also have to cope with the departure of Diego Costa.

Championship: Middlesbrough @ 7/1
Middlesbrough have hired Garry Monk and owner Steve Gibson has given him assurances that money is available to strengthen and “smash” the division. Boro will hope to retain the nucleus of the squad that came down from the Premier League and they should be right up there.

League One: Wigan Athletic @ 7/1
The Latics won the League One title two seasons ago with a perceived worse manager than Paul Cook, with his arrival from Portsmouth suggesting he regards Wigan as the better horse in the race. He inherits some good players including Max Power, Omar Bogle and Will Grigg. We’re happy to back them over Blackburn at half the price.

League Two: Mansfield Town @ 9/2
It’s unimaginative but Mansfield have to be the selection for the fourth tier. The Stags have been crazy busy in the transfer market and have effectively built a League One side in all but name. Steve Evans is also a high profile coach at that level and we’re pretty confident they will deliver the goods.
