UEFA Champions League fixtures and previews – Tuesday 26 September

There are eight Champions League matches on Tuesday night, with Borussia Dortmund clashing with Real Madrid

It’s Game Week 2 in the Champions League and the most attractive match on offer is the clash between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, with the German side going up against Los Merengues.

The reigning champions lost at home to Real Betis last week, while Valencia and Levante have also denied Real, although Dortmund did lose at Wembley in their opening match. The latest Champions League odds indicate that Real Madrid are strong favourites.

Liverpool head to Moscow hoping to enjoy their first group win, while Manchester City clash with Shakhtar Donetsk and we could see Pep Guardiola’s side score another hatful of goals.

Spurs head to Cyprus hoping to strengthen their position in the group, with Tottenham going up against APOEL Nicosia, while there are some other attractive matches including Besiktas clashing with Leipzig.

Monaco meet Porto and that could be another intriguing encounter, although Sevilla, Manchester City and Napoli are likely to be the popular accumulator selections.

Sevilla v NK Maribor
Spartak Moscow v Liverpool

Manchester City v Shakhtar Donetsk
Napoli v Feyenoord

Besiktas v RB Leipzig
