Celtic and Manchester City clash, while Leicester City entertain Porto at the King Power Stadium
It’s Gameweek 2 in the Champions League, with Manchester City heading north of the border to clash with Celtic on Wednesday night. They do so without the injured Kevin de Bruyne and Brendan Rodgers will be relieved that the Belgian isn’t available for the visitors.
Tottenham Hotspur can ill-afford another defeat when they play CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night, while Leicester City will look to turn the screw in Group G against Porto. The Foxes were facile winners against Club Brugge and they have been strong at the King Power for the last twelve months.
Arsenal opened with a 1-1 draw at Paris Saint-Germain and the Gunners face Basel on Wednesday night, with Arsene Wenger’s team flying after walloping Chelsea 3-0. Alexis Sanchez is looking particularly dangerous for the London side.
The highlight clash of the week is probably Borussia Dortmund v Real Madrid, with the German side out of the traps fast this season and scoring lots of goals.
However, Real are the reigning champions and will want to ensure they finish top of Group F.
