With sports betting legislation progression coming out of Ohio later this afternoon, WynnBET announced Tuesday a new corporate partnership with the Cincinnati Reds.
The two companies will collaborate on marketing efforts throughout the rest of this season to introduce WynnBET to Reds fans in Indiana as the mobile sportsbook continues its expansion effort in the state.
WynnBET will have access to official Reds marks and logos for use across its online products, as well as marketing assets to create co-branded promotional offers for MLB betting enthusiasts that are available only through the WynnBET app for users in Indiana.
In addition, they will also be offering the chance to receive Reds game tickets and team memorabilia during select promotions to be announced.
Online sports betting launched in Indiana in 2019 and has enjoyed tremendous growth. In May 2021, the Hoosier State saw an increase of its sports wagering handle from the previous month with bettors giving the state’s online and retail sportsbooks $254.4 million in action.
That was a 7.6% increase from April when the sports wagering handle, online and retail combined, was $236.4 million. Mobile betting in May was $234 million, or nearly 92% of the month’s total handle, according to the Indiana Gaming Commission.
