Over the last five weeks, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts holds the NFL’s top QBR passer rating. The Eagles as a team have won three of their last four games with a most recent 40-29 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

While Hurts has been great of late, he isn’t doing it with big numbers, throwing for under 200 yards in each of their last three victories. The name of the Eagles offensive game is efficiency, and consistently winning the turnover/field position battle. They’ll look to do more of the same against the New York Giants, who struggle to win those same battles.

The Giants don’t have the same momentum coming into this game, losing two of their last three games. They most recently lost 30-10 to the reigning SB Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Offensively, the New York Giants don’t have a ton to offer. However, they have one of the brightest young players in the league in WR Kadarius Toney.

Toney, aside from his nagging injury problems, has looked like one of the best rookie WR’s in this class, if not the best all around. He put up double-digit catches and 170+ yards against the Cowboys, who have slowed down opposing WR’s all year. If the Giants want to have a chance in this game, Daniel Jones will need to find the hands of Kadarius Toney early and often.

The Eagles come into this game as three-point favorites with some top sportsbooks in the US listing the number at 3.5. The majority of the public likes the Eagles to cover here, and I have to disagree. The Eagles have looked good recently, but they’ve also run into teams at their deepest low of the season. The Giants and Eagles know each other all too well and you can throw recent performances in the garbage. I expect a massive day for Toney at WR and for the Giants to pull out a surprise victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
