AFC East rivals aiming to snap two-game losing skids face off on Monday Night Football for Week 6, as Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets host Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. 

The Jets (2-3) go into the primetime game after firing head coach Robert Saleh and taking playcalling duties from offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. Meanwhile, a dominant offense of the Bills (3-2) through three weeks has fallen relatively silent the last two games. 

The latest Bills vs. Jets NFL odds has road-side Buffalo favored by 2.5 points, a line that’s unchanged through the week. The Over/Under for total points is at 41, down a whopping five points.

While the Jets have more potential on offense than they’ve shown, the proof in the pudding so far has been a team that hasn’t cracked 24 points yet. The Under has hit in the last four games. 

The Under is also good on Buffalo’s last two, now that its offense has crashed back to earth. But now we’ve gotten too low. Buffalo has still scored 30-plus in over half of its games, and the Jets do still have Rodgers, Breece Hall, and Garrett Wilson and new leadership on the sideline. We’ll take Over as a secondary play. 

Bills vs. Jets Moneyline

The favored Bills are -135 on the moneyline, so it would take a $135 wager to win $100 in profit on a Buffalo victory. The underdog Jets are at +114 (wager $110 to win $100 in profit). 

Going with the Jets on the moneyline is very enticing. While it’s an important game for Allen and the Bills, it’s must-win time for Rodgers and the Jets. On paper, New York is the better team. A change of staff could be the smelling salts to the Jets’ entire year. We like getting plus odds on the Jets to win outright.

Hall is probably the favorite for Bust of the Year among fantasy football players. He was a top-five pick on a lot of boards, but through three weeks is averaging 3.0 yards per carry and has three total TDs. Still, there is hope, and if the Jets' offensive line can’t run block, let the Jets get the ball to Hall on the open field.
