Seattle Seahawks NFL Draft Odds: QB For First Round Pick?
The Seattle Seahawks acquired the No. 9 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. But it cost them their franchise quarterback.
Out is Russell Wilson, who started nearly every game the last decade for Seattle with a Super Bowl championship and just one losing season. The team’s current QB1 is Drew Lock, the Broncos' tried-but-failed answer at QB.
The Seahawks have a number of holes to fill, but QB headlines the list.

Who Will The Seahawks Take In NFL Draft?
Seattle is one of the tougher teams to peg down as to which position should be prioritized with its first pick. Clearly the Seahawks are in the market for a QB, but also need considerable improvements at tackle and center on the O-line, and edge rusher, linebacker and cornerback on defense.
Corral is an X-factor, projected to go anywhere from top 10 to the second round. The Seahawks could leap at an elite edge or CB performer and hope Corral, Liberty’s Malik Willis or Pittsburgh’s Kenny Pickett are still available later on.

If Oregon Edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux is still there at No. 9, that might be too much talent to pass up. But he’s unlikely to make it this far down the board.
Utah LB Devin Lloyd is the top of the class at his position. With the Seahawks cutting Bobby Wagner for cap reasons, Lloyd would be a reliable plug-and-play option.
Malik Willis Odds to Join the Seahawks
Despite playing at a low-level program, Willis has worked his way into being the projected top quarterback in the Class of 2022 with his performance at the Senior Bowl and his pre-draft tangibles. Willis’ mobility is second-to-none in this draft, which might be nice for a Seattle team that struggled to keep Wilson upright for most of the last couple seasons.
He also has one of the strongest arms in the draft. Seattle has an elite corps of receivers, it just needs someone to get the ball to them.
