Despite finishing second during the Dutch MotoGP, Marc Marquez is still the best bet to back for the upcoming German MotoGP. The HJC Helmets Motorrad Deutschland is the ninth race of the season, with Marquez sitting comfortably atop the MotoGP World Championship standings.

Marquez currently leads the field by 44 points after a second-place finish in the Netherlands, and his world title odds seem almost like a lock at this point. Between the world title chase and the way 2019 has shaped up so far, going all-in on Marquez this weekend should be considered.

Marquez Bets To Consider in Deutschland

At -3335 to claim the world title, Marquez winning it is almost a guarantee at this point. Those odds will only continue to climb, but they are as sure of odds to hit than any other in MotoGP this season. Marquez has only been beaten by another rider three times this year, once to open the season in Qatar, once in Italy and then again in the Netherlands.

Of the eight races this season, Marquez has won four times while also finishing in second-place three times he didn't win. He also wrecked in America after having a substantial lead while trying to turn a corner.

If he finds himself finishing with a podium result in Germany, his odds will continue to grow as will his likelihood in winning the world title this season.

Will Marquez Win the German MotoGP?

More than likely, considering this man's track record in Sachsenring. Marquez has won the German MotoGP six years in a row and enters with somewhat low odds at -250. It's hard not to take that bet with such a low value for the sport's best rider entering an event he hasn't lost since 2012.

Some may feel more worried about Marquez winning after last week's race. If that's the case, taking Marquez to finish with a podium result (top 3) would be the way to go. Those odds don't drop until qualifiers are finished, so be on the lookout for 'Top 3' odds which will undoubtedly favor Marquez despite his qualifying result.

Marquez has only seen one finish outside the Top-2 this season, so even if the Spaniard doesn't win in Sachsenring he should easily see a podium finish. A Spaniard has actually won this race nine years in a row, so the field outside of Marquez is thin at best.

Valentino Rossi's last win in Germany came back in 2009 as he is a four-time winner. However, he has failed to finish a race in three straight which is the first time that's happened since 2011.

Alex Rins may be a threat as he is one of only a handful of riders to win this race at a different classification level (Johann Zarco and Jack Miller also fall into this category). Rins retired last race as well though, which leaves Marquez as the top former winner in Germany with the best momentum entering Sachsenring. Consider any and all Marquez bets this weekend.
