Best Week 8 DFS QB

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger ($6,600 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens

The Steelers are entering this crucial Week 8 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger coming off a three-interception game against the Tennessee Titans. However, he is a strong play this week, even on the road.

Consider this: Since 2014, Roethlisberger has averaged 287 passing yards and 1.8 passing touchdowns against the Ravens. Baltimore has had some pretty good defenses during that time, yet Roethlisberger has found success against Pittsburgh’s bitter rival. Don't expect the Steelers to have much success running the ball against Baltimore's loaded front seven, but look for Roethlisberger to air it out against a Ravens' secondary that has allowed the 13th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

Deciding which receiver to stack with Roethlisberger is a little more difficult considering he is spreading the ball around more than ever, but make sure "Big Ben" is in your lineup. He could throw for 400 or more yards in this AFC North division game.

Best Week 8 DFS RB

Browns RB Kareem Hunt ($6,900)

Matchup: Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns

Since Nick Chubb went down with a knee injury, Kareem Hunt has become one of the most valuable running backs in DFS. Over the past four weeks, he has averaged 16 points per game. And in that span, he faced two of the best run defenses in the NFL, the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers.

This week, Hunt and the Browns will face the Raiders, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. With injured wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. lost for the season, look for the Browns to lean on their star running back even more. Expect Hunt to see more than 20 touches in this game and to reach the end zone multiple times. Las Vegas doesn't have the front four to keep up with Cleveland.

Hunt is a great bet to finish as the RB1 in Week 8, given how much the Raiders have struggled with zone-rushing attacks. Look for him to easily surpass 18 DFS points this week.

Best Week 8 DFS WR

Bengals WR Tee Higgins ($5,600)

Matchup: Tennessee Titans at Cincinnati Bengals

Over the past few weeks, second-round pick Tee Higgins has developed into one of Joe Burrow's favorite targets. In his previous five games, Higgins has averaged nearly 17 points per game and scored three touchdowns. He also has had several big plays negated by penalties. It's clear that Higgins is quickly turning into a top receiver for Cincinnati.

In Week 8, Higgins will face a Titans' defense that is allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing receivers. With the Bengals throwing more, Higgins is a lock to see at least five targets, with most of those coming deep down the field or in the end zone. Higgins is a strong WR2 play this week at a cheap price. Put him in your lineup this week as he has shown a high ceiling in the Bengals' offense.

Best Week 8 DFS TE

Raiders TE Darren Waller ($5,600)

Matchup: Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns

If you don't want to spend up for George Kittle or Travis Kelce, consider slotting Darren Waller into your lineup this week. In six games for the Raiders this season, Waller has caught 40 passes for 345 yards and three touchdowns. He already has matched his touchdown total from last season because the Raiders are using Waller more in the red zone.

In Week 8, Waller will face a Browns' defense that has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Cleveland doesn't have the linebackers or safeties to match up with Waller so look for Raiders coach Jon Gruden to design his offense around that mismatch. Waller should see double-digit targets in this game and come close to 100 receiving yards. Waller is as consistent as it comes at tight end and is an excellent value at only $5,600 this week.

Best Week 8 DFS FLEX

Chiefs RB Le'Veon Bell ($4,600)

Matchup: New York Jets at Kansas City Chiefs

In his first game with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, running back Le'Veon Bell totaled 39 yards on the ground in the snow against the Broncos. The team didn't use him in the passing game, but that is expected to change as he becomes more comfortable in the offense.

In Week 8, the Chiefs will take on the Jets and Bell would love nothing more than to get revenge on Adam Gase in his former team. He's priced as a low-end RB2 this week, so don't be afraid to throw him into that spot or even in your flex spot. The former All-Pro running back could gain close to 100 total yards and reach each the end zone at least once. Chiefs coach Andy Reid will find a way to make sure that Bell is effective in this game, no matter what.
