It’s been a tough few opening games for Arsenal who have already lost games at Stoke and Liverpool, although last weekend’s goalless draw at Stamford Bridge hinted that the Gunners do have the stomach for a battle.

Indeed, since losing 4-0 at Anfield, Arsene Wenger’s team have been unbeaten and won their three games at the Emirates by an aggregate score of 7-1, with the Arsenal rearguard standing up strong to Alvaro Morata and the rest of the Chelsea team most recently.

With this in mind, we have to expect the Gunners to enjoy a clean sheet against the Baggies and we’re happy to back the 6/5 about a home win to nil, especially as Tony Pulis’ side will be mainly preoccupied with landing a clean sheet.

The online bookmakers are particularly short about a win for Arsenal, although a bet on the home side winning without reply offers far greater value.

West Brom have scored in both away games to date, although a 1-0 triumph at Turf Moor could have gone either way, while a 3-1 defeat at Brighton saw James Morrison score a consolation goal after the Midlands side had conceded three goals.

The visitors would be delighted to land a goalless draw and a recent 0-0 against West Ham actually had Pulis purring, with the same outcome here keeping Albion well clear of danger for the time being.
