An unbeaten Wales team can draw in Bosnia and confirm their place at the Euro 2016 finals

Wales have only qualified once for a major tournament and you’d need to be pretty old to remember the 1958 World Cup!

However, fans of every age are about to enjoy watching Chris Coleman’s team playing at the Euro 2016 finals, with the Dragons having landed eighteen points from eight matches played in qualifying.

Much has been made of Gareth Bale’s contribution to the team and there is little denying they wouldn’t be in the Group B box seat if it hadn’t been for the Real Madrid superstar.

However, this is not a one-man team and Wales have conceded just two goals along the way, which includes clean sheets in Belgium, Israel and Cyprus.

Ashley Williams is a rock in central defence, with Neil Taylor and Chris Gunter having played their part in front of Wayne Hennessey, while Aaron Ramsey adds a touch of class in midfield.

Bosnia are surprisingly odds-on for this clash and there seems little point in backing them considering they lost 2-1 at home to Cyprus and were also held by the Belgians.

Mehmed Baždarević’s team are still hunting down a play-off place and will hope for big performances from Roma duo Miralem Pjanic and Edin Dzeko, the latter formerly of Manchester City and boasting a phenomenal strike rate for his country.

Nevertheless, Wales are more than capable of keeping things tight and Bale provides a counter-attacking outlet and free-kick taker of the highest order.

Expect a low-scoring match but one in which the Welsh are ultimately celebrating a point before an easy-looking final fixture against Andorra in front of a packed Cardiff City Stadium.
