Eddie Howe took charge of Bournemouth for the second time when the Cherries were near the foot of the League One table.

Since then, there has been no looking back for a manager who has engineered two promotions and now a squad who can mix it with the best of them in the Premier League.

Bournemouth currently sit in the Europa League places and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see them finishing up in the top six, with a visit from Manchester United on Saturday lunchtime holding little fear for them.

The home side are averaging two goals per home game and nearly as many on the road, with Howe’s men unbeaten at the Vitality Stadium and ready to serve it up to the Red Devils.

United have previously been pragmatic under Jose Mourinho although he has clearly changed their style of play more recently and it was entertaining when drawing 2-2 at Chelsea before beating Everton 2-1.

Anthony Martial is in excellent form, with Marcus Rashford likely to be preferred ahead of Romelu Lukaku again.

For Bournemouth, Callum Wilson is having an excellent season and he’s backed up by David Brooks and Ryan Fraser, while Josh King also brings a cutting edge.

While the Cherries are worthy of consideration at a big price, we feel more comfortable getting with goals in this clash.
