We’ve got some Friday night football at the AMEX Stadium, with Brighton & Hove Albion having the champagne on ice as they look to close out a successful season in the Premier League.

The Seagulls are five clear of the drop zone with three games left to play, with Chris Hughton having played a blinder all campaign and there are reasons why they might land a draw against Manchester United.

Brighton have avoided defeat in fourteen of their eighteen home matches this term and will want to sign off in front of their own fans with a positive result.

They have also managed to draw three of their previous four matches including a 1-1 draw against Tottenham where they responded quickly to going a goal down and nullified a dangerous team.

With matches coming up away to Liverpool and Manchester City, this is actually the easiest remaining fixture for the Sussex team and they might face a Manchester United team who aren’t at full pelt.

The Red Devils are virtually nailed for second place, with Romelu Lukaku on the sidelines after sustaining an injury in United’s 2-1 win over Arsenal and Jose Mourinho might give one or two players a rest ahead of the impending FA Cup final.

A 1-1 scoreline could also be a decent play and that has been the outcome in the previous two Brighton home matches. It would be a scoreline that would suit both teams.
