Betting Tip: Brentford +1.00 @ 4/5 with bet365

An intriguing Championship clash on Friday night, with Brighton looking to make it three wins on the bounce against a Brentford side who still have a sniff of the play-offs.

The Seagulls have been in the top six all season although automatic promotion aspirations seem to have faded in the past couple of months. Even so, Albion remain within touching distance of Hull and Middlesbrough, with wins over Blackburn and Huddersfield much-needed.

They now face a Brentford side who triumphed 3-1 in their last away match, with that followed by a draw against Leeds before a ten day break and no FA Cup involvement.

Dean Smith is finding his feet at Griffin Park and the visitors are capable of getting at least a point against a Brighton side who only just overcame Huddersfield in their last home match.

Previously to this, the Seagulls lost at home to Middlesbrough, Ipswich and Wolves in quick succession. They are just short of goals right now, with Bobby Zamora having provided the magic touch in the past two games after the team failed to score in the previous six.

Alan Judge has been Brentford’s midfield maestro this term, finding the net on twelve occasions including twice in the past three games. We think he can help his team to a positive result here.
