Nobody expected anything other than a relegation scrap for Brighton & Hove Albion this season, although the Seagulls are doing a decent job of keeping their heads above water.

While they have only won three Premier League games at the AMEX, Manchester City and Liverpool are the only teams to have claimed victory in Sussex which illustrates that Chris Hughton’s side are a tough nut to crack.

They are helped by playing Chelsea at a busy time for the London side. On Wednesday night, the Blues are in FA Cup action against Norwich City before brushing themselves down for this clash.

Antonio Conte has bemoaned the fixture scheduling and the fact that his players are feeling tired, with an over-reliance on Eden Hazard to make things happen leading to a spate of recent goalless draws.

Indeed, Leicester were the better team at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and we can get with Brighton on the Asian Handicap with a degree of confidence, while the draw should be a big runner considering this has happened on six occasions at the AMEX this term.

The Seagulls do struggle to score goals in the top flight which is highlighted by just twelve being notched in eleven home games, although they’re fairly strong in defence and they have an assured central defensive pairing in Dunk and Duffy.

All things considered, we’re happy to go for the home side on the Asian Handicap as well as backing the draw, while No Goalscorer can’t be ruled out considering Chelsea’s recent woes in front of goal.
